Our LEGACY
Since 1951, Nalley Commercial Properties has been building communities throughout the Southeast. What started as a construction company under founder G.B. Nalley, Sr., has grown into a full-service commercial real estate development firm led by four generations of family members.
Our story began right here in Upstate South Carolina, where G.B. Nalley Sr. drew from his roots in the lumber business to begin developing single-family residential neighborhoods. When his son, G.B. "Bud" Nalley Jr., joined the company after graduating from Clemson in 1960, the father-son team expanded into commercial development, building and leasing properties to local and national retailers.
Under Bud's vision, the company transformed from general contracting to comprehensive building, development, and property management. As the focus shifted from construction to development, Nalley Construction Company produced an additional entity for commercial property leasing and management, aptly named Nalley Commercial Properties, specializing in grocery-anchored retail centers across the Southeast and leasing to national grocery stores and retailers.
Third-generation leader G. Weston Nalley joined in 1988, followed by fourth-generation family members G. Bennett Nalley (2017) and Weston B. Nalley (2019), ensuring our commitment to excellence and adaptability continues well into the future.
Our EXPERTISE
Today, we are a trusted partner to businesses throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Kentucky. Our portfolio includes over 200 successfully developed, constructed, and managed supermarkets and strip centers, with more than 5 million square feet of retail space under our ownership or management.
