For more than three decades, Wes Nalley has been the steady hand guiding Nalley Construction Co. as its President, a role he's held with pride since 1989. What started as a leap from his banking career has grown into a legacy of successful commercial development and property management projects.
His journey began at Presbyterian College, followed by valuable years at South Carolina National Bank, where he developed the financial foundation that would serve him well in real estate. Wes put that expertise to work serving on multiple bank boards, including First United Bancorp of Anderson and Community Bank of Greenville as a founding organizer. His deep involvement with Peoples Bancorp, where he served on both the Audit and Compensation Committees, and his role as Director of Peoples National Bank of Easley, showcase his commitment to sound financial leadership.
His board service reaches outside the banking industry. Wes brings his business acumen to Kent Wool in Greenville and maintains strong ties to his alma mater through his elected position on the Presbyterian College Board of Trustees, a role that allows him to give back to the institution that helped shape his career.
Staying current in the ever-changing world of commercial real estate, Wes maintains an active membership in the International Council of Shopping Centers. This connection keeps him plugged into industry trends and ensures his projects reflect the latest in commercial development best practices.
Faith and community are central to Wes’s life. His active involvement at First Presbyterian Church of Greenville reflects his belief in using his leadership skills to serve others and strengthen his community.
Wes lives in Greenville, South Carolina, with his wife Dawn and stepson Carson. He's the father of three children—Mary Ashton, Bennett, and Weston—and when he's not working, you can find him on the golf course, flying a plane, or simply enjoying good times with family and friends.
